Thanks for the Memories
The other day while randomly perusing the latest posts I happened upon one where the lady relayed the story of her visit to a sex shop that a friend told her stocked especially sexy bikinis. (Sorry, but I failed to take note of the blogger’s name or capture a link to her post. 😡) The twist to her story was that if the buyer wanted opinions on how she looked in the sexy bikinis, she was welcome to model them and ask the other sex shop patrons for their opinions. 😂 Her post reminded me of a somewhat similar situation I’d experienced.
At one of the lingerie stores in Ft. Lauderdale, they had women on staff that would model the lingerie for prospective buyers. I tried the modeling session once. As I expected, once the lady had me in private she offered me additional, added cost, services. I declined, indicating that I needed to get back to work but would return later.
Some other favorite memories from this area, alternately known as the three southern most counties of New York, or a sub-tropical Sodom and Gomorrah, include:
The Topless Donut Shop - Just about like any other donut shop, well except your server was topless. That place gave a whole new meaning to the question, “Cream with that coffee?” 🤣
The Topless Car Wash - Basically like you’d do in your driveway ‒ garden hoses, buckets and sponges. You entered a little booth, they pulled a curtain, the girls pulled off their bikini tops and washed while you stayed in the car. Reportedly, for a good tip, they’d soap up your windows without using the sponges! I had a female coworker convinced to join me on a visit one lunchtime but the damn place closed before we ever got around to it. 😡
The Infamous South Florida Weenie Girls - Your standard hot dog vendor working from a cart, except for how they were dressed. When approached from certain angles, some of them looked flat-out naked. At one point, there was almost one nearly naked girl per major intersection, and some had two (or more). There was one very near where I worked. Back in those days we all didn’t have cell phone cameras. That same fun female coworker that agreed to going to the topless car wash with me purchased an autographed picture of Suzie for me at Christmas. Eventually fender-benders in those areas got so bad the local government passed a law that said food vendors must also provide rest room facilities. Poof, lunch was a lot less fun.
But likely my favorite memory of all was: Hair Stylists in Lingerie - Pretty much what it sounds like.“A” (pictured) did a wonderful job and was such a sweetie. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, but when she closed the business I followed her to the (much more conventional) shop where she started working. So what does that tell you?

I told the cute young thing that runs a fairly recently opened fetish clothing store here that I’d work as a sales clerk there FREE. But she said she was too much of a control freak to have anyone but her working there. Would you consider working as an unpaid clerk in a lingerie or fetish store?

I have never worked anywhere sexual. However I did work in a daycare that was filled with silly humans, LOL.
That's fun of a whole different sort - much more wholesome.
I have been to just a few of the local adult toy shops, but they were just about like any other retail establishment really. Not that fun other than thinking of what I could do with some of the toys. I probably wouldn't ever work at a place like those you mentioned. And certainly not for free. LOL
We gotta up your perv score! How about demonstrating those prospective sex toys for other patrons to get their opinions?😂
@CleavageFan4U I would prefer to go shopping with a FWB to pick out a couple of things to try and then trying them in the privacy of a nice hotel room.

Back in the 80s, commando cafes were popular in Japan, where the waitresses wore short skirts and went commando. Of course, the clientele were mainly men.
