Mina Mazzini and Giancarlo Giannini (an Italian actor):
San Pellegrino, or S. Pellegrino, is an Italian soft drinks brand now owned by Nestlé. Its drinks, especially its mineral water, are very good but very expensive. Given I'm watching the Tour de France on television almost every day, I've consumed a lot of adverts. Unfortunately the Tour isn't being covered by the ad-free BBC.
One advert that's being played a lot is S. Pellegrino's Bring Your Best advert - see below clip.
The advert uses a song that is now a big but not yet annoying earworm in my head. I had to look up who did the song. It was an Italian singer called Mina Mazzini, widely known as Mina.

Her song, Mi sei Scoppiato Dentro il Cuore (which translates to You Burst Inside my Heart) was a 1966 hit in the Italian charts - see clip below.
I've never heard of Mina Mazzini before this advert. But it turns out that she's the most popular Italian singer ever. Incredibly she has had 77 albums and 71 singles as hits in the Italian charts. Mina was also an actress starring in many films and regularly appearing on television.
I know about the Italian opera singer Luciano Pavarotti and the Italian actress Sophia Loren but never the Italian singer-cum-actress Mina Mazzini. Frank Sinatra and Mick Jagger liked her though. The Italian producer and journalist, Lorenzo Cibrario, described Mina as "the greatest singer Italy has ever known and one of the most beautiful voices in the world."
In 1989, Mina Mazzini took out Swiss citizenship after marrying her Swiss husband, Eugenio Quaini. She even changed her legal name to Anna Maria Quaini as required by the Swiss authorities but she still calls herself Mina Mazzini or Mina to her fans. I am now one of her fans thanks to San Pellegrino. What a voice!

Surprising that she smokes, with that beautiful voice to protect. Times were different then...
And she's still alive at the age of 85!
I have only drank San Pellegrino one time and that was because someone gave it to me and although I prefer to always drink seltzer water, I wouldn't pay for S. Pellegrino unless it was a last resort.
As for Mina, great voice, although prior to your post, I had never heard of her before.
S. Pellegrino is very expensive to drink.

We have a commercial similar here about San Pellegrino, but I didn't know that Nestle now owns them.
